Born and raised on the Jersey Shore, DJMenson was always intrigued by the talented hands of many entertainers, such as Funk Master Flex, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Bad Boy Bill. At the age of 12, he wired up two turntable stereos to a pair of speakers and began practicing with hip hop, r&b, house, and AV8 party breaks on vinyl.
Around 15, Menson began working as a DJ/roady for Cisco's Disco. The veteran DJs took him under their wing and introduced him to the nightlife. They provided entertainment at the Ramada Lounge and began letting Menson spin on Thursdays. On weekends, Menson was literally studying all DJs and after a few times visiting teen nights at venues like Yakety Yak, Menson introduced himself with a hand shaking to DJ Unique. the resident DJ. Many years later, they're still in touch to this day.
A few years later, Menson linked up with DJ/producer, Cory Minto. They began working together then Minto took a chance and got him into a hip-hop room at Stingrays in Old Bridge, NJ. They're still great friends today after more than 20 years, and now, business partners. With a few more years of experience, Menson joined up with a former neighbor, DJ Robbie O, and was given a shot in Long Beach Island at Joe Pops where he maintained a four year-residency. Soon after, he maintained a four year residency at Jenks Club.
In 2008, Menson was recruited by veteran radio DJ, Matt Knight from B98.5 and was chosen to be a mixer for the Hit Mix @ 5 along with others like DJ Unique and DJ Prime. Menson was on every Tuesday afternoon fro about two years before the station was reformatted to country. Then, Menson received a call from Prime about teaming up in a new crew called Blue Monster Talent. Prime kept Menson's schedule packed with performances in the tri-state area. Nearly six years later, working for Prime sparked something that left Menson wanting something beyond DJing...ownership!

Cory Minto’s musical interests began as a child, as he learned to play instruments and read sheet music, however a particular interest in electronic dance music was born with the emergence of techno and house music in the early 90s. It was around this time where he began to acquire cheap audio equipment, amass a music collection, and learn to beat-mix for many years at home, practicing and perfecting the craft endlessly. It was around this time when he also began acquiring sequencers, samplers, and other music-making equipment, and started making music at home.
Through his teen years, Cory began to DJ professionally and learned how to read crowds. As a lover of ALL music, he always had an active interest in learning the catalogs and history of all genres. Today he can say with confidence, that there is no type of music that he doesn’t know well, and no event that he couldn’t handle with smooth efficacy. His schedule is filled with weddings, corporate events, bars & clubs, and just about any event requiring music or production.
Today, he runs a successful professional production studio, with a busy schedule laden with projects both for clients and for his own music-making ventures. Somehow, he still finds time for custom mixes & edits, remixes, 2-channel mixing/mastering, voice-over recordings, and just about everything else. His studio clients include musical artists in need of production, cheerleading groups, dance studios, and anyone in need of custom audio production.
Always a turntable enthusiast, Cory also does simple repairs and modifications to the original Technics 1200 turntable, including LED installation, painting, and changing of parts, like the pitch fader and tonearm.

John Hozak was seduced by dance music at a very young age. Family members who were attracted to the sounds that fueled dance-floors and nightlife of that time, kept the music on continuous rotation at his home. His personal collection of LPs and singles began to grow which sparked the beginning of a life-long musical journey he still pursues.
Being an avid roller skater in his early teen years, Hozak was amazed how the DJ was able to continuously mix the music that kept people moving without missing a beat. He purchased his first set of turntables at the age of 14. Shortly after, he immersed himself in the art of mixing and it became an immediate obsession.
With passion and practice, Hozak has turned a childhood passion into a full time career. From clubs, lounges, and corporate functions, to more formal events like weddings and sweet sixteens, Hozak's main focus is to provide an amazing soundtrack and make people move.
